Tan Sri Jins Shamsudin I grew up watching the late P Ramlee’s movies. Tan Sri Jins Shamsudin had first caught my eyes through his acting as the antagonist in Sergeant Hassan together with P Ramlee. So, I’ve watched several films directed by him and I have tried to break down several elements from the Auteur Theory. In most of his films, I noticed that he always had the same theme such as family bond, love, and sacrifices. For example, in his early creations like his first “newborn”— Bukan Salah Ibu Mengandong (1969). He also always instilled a character with disability such as a character with blindness, broken-legged, cancer patient, emotional-pain, and few more.   Although those characters have disabilities, I think he successfully made a big impact out of all those characters. Genre Analysis: Cinderella (1998) & Sindarela (2008)

A little background about these two TV series, the former one was a hit back then in the end of 90s as it catches everyone’s heart with the sweet chemistry of both main characters Ahmad Idham and Haliza Misbun together with their opening and closing song of the series by singer Haslinda. Meanwhile, the latter was a series included in the Lestary slot for the TV station. It was played by Sharifah Amani, Bront Palarae and Remy Ishak.
