TV Series Review: F.R.I.E.N.D.S

F.R.I.E.N.D.S (1994-2004)
This famous TV series is created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman for every episode of each ten seasons. This comedy and romance series that first released on 22nd September 1994 is about six people in their twenties living off of each other in New York City. Each of them strived to reach their goals and dreams while happily enjoying their moments together.
Rachel Green was a spoiled brat child who suddenly escaped from her wedding and went to her long lost high school’s best friend, Monica Geller and they started to be roommates since then. Monica’s brother, Ross Geller is a paleontologist who lived across the building, has been facing misfortunes with his love life especially including raising up a son of him with his lesbian ex-wife. Meanwhile Monica is now a head chef at a restaurant who used to be bullied during schools due to her excessive weight. Living infront of Monica’s apartment is Joey Tribbiani and his roommate, Chandler Bing. Joey is a struggling actor who seeks for fame and fortune but always got into a bad scripted play while Chandler is a data processor that comes from a quite wealthy family background who always used humour or jokes around as a self defense mechanism. Then there’s Phoebe Buffay, a masseuse and also a musician as she sometimes sings at Central Perk coffee house.
From all these characters, Chandler, Joey and Phoebe can be marked as the comic relief of the series. They always humored us with unexpected jokes and sometimes even in a quite serious scene, they could make the audiences laugh even with their actions.
As for the relationship of Ross and Rachel, everybody knows Ross has been crushing on her since high school and they started dating in an episode in Season 2. Their relationship was definitely a rollercoaster, a on-off relationship but after a one night stand, Rachel has gotten pregnant with Emma. Thus, both Rachel and Ross finally decided to get back together as they still loved each other and Emma is what bonds them even more.
